PACKING TIPS
Packing ... how do you do that?
Wrapping is a specialty and we can provide you with expert advice with the following tips:
- You need to pack the boxes in such a way that they can be closed with ease
- Please do not seal the boxes
- Everything that can fit into a box, should go into a box. This includes items as lampshades and speakers
Packing books:
Put the books, as much as possible, straight up in the box. Books standing straight up are better prevented for any damage to the books. If you have a single row of standing books in a box have to count that this box is full.
The packing of glass and pottery:
For packing glasses, cups and plates, you can use wrapping paper supplied. Plates should stand straight up in the box. Please make sure that the glasses or dishes can not move, but they certainly do not press too hard. Any space can be filled with wrapping paper. Please fill the boxes, but leave at least two (2) centimeters of free space below the brim.
Packing fragile items:
The single parts of goods such as clocks, computers, etc. must first be disassembled before they can be put in a box. This is being provided to you. For your P.C. and bedding, we have a special types of boxes.
The packing of the plants:
The small plants can be in an open box places, it is recommended to do this on the same day as the removal takes place and keep them as dry as possible.
Packing paintings and clothing:
Framed paintings and / or other wall decorations, you can leave them hanging on the wall, on the day of removal, we take it off and pack them in special art boxes, your clothes will ahng in special wardrobe boxes, so you can leave your hanging garment in your closet.
